Take your first steps into knitting design work with a custom cowl pattern. We'll work through inspiration, choosing a stitch pattern, swatching, pattern maths, and talk about what you need to do to publish your pattern (if you want to). Skills needed: cast on, knit, purl, cast off. Please bring 4-5mm needles of your choice (the cowl is worked flat or in the round - 40cm circular is suggested) and a stitch marker.
This workshop costs £20 which includes yarn for swatching your cowl and a worksheet.
The class lasts for 90 minutes.
This session is running at the Southern Wool Show, Newbury. You will need to purchase entry to the show separately, a valid show ticket must be held.

Everyone present during the session must book a space.
The minimum age for workshops is 13 years. Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult. If the workshop is cancelled by the instructor a full refund will be provided.
Refunds will be provided in accordance with UK distance selling law.
Refunds made more than 7 days before the workshop will have a transaction fee of £2 deducted.
No refund will be given for cancellation within 7 days of the workshop date.
